I moved to Hawaii in early 2023. When I arrived, my house was still undergoing construction and this is where I first met Shawn. I walked into my soon to be new home and found him installing the electrical. He apologized for the sawdust he was making and welcomed me to Hawaii. Not long after I settled in, I was introduced to his friend group and we hung out every week for the next year. Unexpectedly, It didn't take long to realize just how much we had in common. And after all of the jokes, pranks, adventures, travels, accidents, and time looking at the stars.... it was clear we found our home in each other.
