How we met

Steph and Kade met in September of 2023 at BYU-Idaho. They were friends from the beginning, bonding over music, ideas, and adventures around Rexburg. What started with hanging out in groups turned into spending a lot of time together getting to know each other. The more they learned about each other the closer they became. A few months went by and they finally shared their developing feelings. Now everything had come together and they quickly fell in love!

Kade took Stephanie on a trip to see California for the first time. While there, Kade and his family worked together to make “family photos” happen on Kade’s favorite beach. After a brief adventure through tide pools and rising waves, he led her through the coves along the shore taking pictures along the way while his family set the scene. Taking Steph through the final cove Kade knelt down and asked Steph to join him for eternity.

What comes next?

After the wedding Kade and Stephanie will be staying in Rexburg for a few years. Kade will continue working on his bachelor's degree in business management, and he plans to graduate in the Spring of 2026. Stephanie will be finishing her master's in clinical social work right before the wedding, then she will start working at a counseling agency in September. They will stay in Idaho while Stephanie works on getting her clinical social work license, then they will hopefully be able to move somewhere warmer!
