Dresscode and footwear

Answer

Ladies: Anything from sundresses to satin—we want you to feel comfortable! The ceremony will be on soft grass, so plan to wear appropriate footwear. We’re color-agnostic and welcome whatever fabric/styles you prefer. Gentlemen: Think smart but relaxed - suits or blazers with fun shirts, dress pants or chinos. Feel free to add color or flair (tie, patterned shirt, or pocket square).

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Feel free to take your own photos. We will have a professional photographer who will capture photos during the ceremony. There will be an opportunity for group photos outside after the ceremony.

Food and Drink

- Alcohol is not permitted during the ceremony as it is held in a public park. But there will be an open bar at the reception. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions. We already plan to have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten options available. - The food will be provided by Sabine, which serves Mediterranean-style cuisine.

Where should I Stay?

Please check the Travel page. There are some local hotels (Hotel Ballard, Ballard Inn), but you will likely find better rates using AirBnB. Please let us know if you have trouble finding accommodation - we can help arrange.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation is provided from the ceremony to the reception. We recommend taking a ride share to the ceremony if possible as parking may be limited.
