How We Met
Justin and I met 15 years ago. At first we started out as what we playfully call “frenemies”. As time went on, everyone went there separate ways and lived their lives. In 2017, we reconnected as friends through social media. After many failed attempts to hang out and catch up, in the summer of 2021 we finally met up with friends in North Carolina for a weekend of fun. When we returned home we spoke everyday and then decided to hang out a week later. We have been inseparable since and quickly knew that we were “the one”!
The Proposal
It was a chilly Monday night in Paris when we went to meet up with friends to explore the city ..or so I thought …. I love that this is how we get to tell our proposal to our future children. While attending a friends amazing wedding in Europe, we decided to end our trip in Disney Paris. We met up in the city to -what I was under the impression, to see some sights. When we arrived Justin told me he had to use the restroom and he’ll catch up. While waiting, our friends, who ALL speak French, were able to distract me while he prepared. To my confusion, one friend handed me roses and then all of my friends proceeded to hand me flowers, with my baby boy CJ being the last. Justin appeared with a smile on his face and got down on one knee. The happiness I felt was unmeasurable! He got me good!

She is one of those people that will do whatever it take to make sure you are successful. But not just in a secular way, emotionally, spiritually, mentally she pours into her friends. We quickly became family and have made so many memories during our friendship. It is MY honor to have her by my side during this entire experience.

From relationship questions to personal questions. Marcus has been a wealth of knowledge with 10 yrs of marriage. We gonna argue and we gonna apologize. Marcus if the definition of accountability, patience, and pride. My brother & best man!

Sierra is one of my longest standing friends. We met when I was a shy 16 year old at a graduation party my beautiful Aunt Juanita invited me to. With both of us being busy moms and her being married, we are famous for “let’s schedule a date”. Always smiling and bringing the consistency and positivity I need in a friend, I’m truly blessed. We are the definition of rooting each other on from a far. So happy to have to her here with me during this time.

Tyler is hand down the funniest person I know and always straightforward. You want to hear the truth or you don’t; Tyler gonna tell it like it is. Always calling at the right time, my whole mood would change when I spoke to “Knowledge”. Wise beyond his year. Tyler’s honesty, and integrity are by far what makes him not only a good friend/brother and even better man.

Rob is my brother. Countless moments we’ve shared together. Since we were children. Staying up late nights saying what life would be like when we got older. And now we’re touching the fringes of old, but nothing has changed. His heart is so big! The one thing I think we share in common is we were taught, learned, and developed being kind through a spiritually supportive family. Words cannot sum up how I feel about Rob. An amazing example of kindness and respect.

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal. We are asking that you please come dressed in your best! Please make sure dress and grooming are appropriate and modest as this is a family event.

While we love your little ones, our wedding reception will be an adults-only event (18+) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Please note that our wedding reception is strictly RSVP only. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
