We're Eloping!
We are sending this to our nearest & dearest to let you know we're eloping and it will be just the two of us. We're excited to say our vows at a mountain lake and cozy up in a cabin to celebrate on 10/3. This isn't traditional, but neither is meeting during a pandemic! But… we do want to include you from afar! So, in place of gifts, we want to ask for a few simple ways you can contribute to our wedding day and be there with us in spirit: 1. Send a note that we can read together on our wedding day with memories, jokes, pictures, or well wishes (you can send to 239 Mt Vernon Ave San Francisco CA 94112 by 9/25) 2. Share a favorite recipe of yours we can add to our rotation of weekly meals (mail or email)! 3. Add song(s) to our wedding day playlist (ask for the Spotify link, or send us the song name / artist to add). We added our favorite song (“Honeybee”) and want to hear yours too. We also invite you to have a dance party to the playlist in our honor on 10/3! These are gifts enough for us. If you absolutely want to contribute, we've put together some ideas in a registry, but your words and songs mean the most to us. We love you so much and are excited to have you there in spirit with us on our special day.

Answer
We just want to keep it simple and get married — but put our own spin on it! We’re telling others so we can have your letters and music to make our day extra special.

What will your elopement look like?
Answer
We will cozy up in a cabin for a couple of days. We’ve have hired an officiant / photographer couple to plan the day and join us on a hike as we stop at a beautiful point for vows and a cheers. Pics will be shared!

Was there a proposal?
Answer
We decided together to get married in this way. We did hold a special weekend with our parents to tell them together and put on the engagement ring. It was wonderful to share that moment and the weekend with them!
