It all started with a celebration. Daniel and Jackie met on September 1st, 2018 at Daniel’s brother, JR’s, wedding shower. They got introduced to each other and that was it. No really that was it. They didn't speak another word to each other. A few weeks later, Jackie was at Life is Beautiful music festival when her friend, Erica, brought up Daniel and the fact that he was single and had his grandma's name tattooed on his neck, haha. Daniel and Jackie met again on October 6th, 2018 at his brother's wedding reception. Daniel couldn't help but follow her around, go to the bar together to take a shot and ultimately ask for her Instagram. They sat beside each other as he looked through her feed when he saw she went to New York earlier in the year and he so boldly said “I see you went to New York. You want to go with me?” She laughed it off and said sure. That night, JR's family invited people back to their hotel room. Jackie was walking along with her friends and suddenly grabbed Daniel's arm as they entered the hotel lobby. Everyone was hanging out in the room just chatting and drinking while Daniel was finding opportunities to talk to her. Some may say he was trying too hard, some may say she was just trying not to cause attention to it. After some time, Jackie and her friend Leilani decided it was time to leave because of work in the morning. Feeling defeated, Daniel decided to also leave. He quickly said his goodbyes, ran down the hall to get into the elevator, sprinted out of the lobby and around the building to call a Lyft to his hotel all in the effort of avoiding Jackie and the feeling of rejection. When Jackie and Leilani got down to the lobby, he was no where in sight. The next day, Jackie was at work when she got an Instagram message from Daniel. He asked her if she made it to work okay. If you know Jackie, then you know she can take a long time to reply back to people. She read his message and didn't reply back for hours. Daniel thought she was going to leave him on read. After working all day, getting back home and relaxing, Jackie finally responded to him. 
 On October 16th, 2018 they went on their first date! Daniel drove from Stockton to American Canyon to pick Jackie up, they went to eat at the Red Robin in Concord and went to Oracle Arena for the Golden State Warriors game on ring night. He definitely spent a pretty penny on her. 10 days later, Daniel and Jackie made it official. 
 In the six plus years they have been together, Daniel and Jackie have created a wonderful life together. From the early days of going back and forth from Stockton to American Canyon, dancing the night away at music festivals together and to their first apartment in Walnut Creek. Daniel asked Jackie to marry him on December 2, 2023 in Napa Valley and planned a surprise engagement party afterwards with some family and friends. Jackie had absolutely no clue and it all came as a big shock! 
 We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all as we say I do in the summer of 2025! We hope that you all can make it ❤️
