Check your passport expiration date and be sure it’s valid at least 3 months past your planned departure from the Schengen area (27 European countries including France). Passport renewal or getting a new passport may take 6 months to process, so please begin now if necessary. The launch of the new electronic travel authorization, also known as a visa waiver, required for US, Canadian and other citizens to enter France and other European countries, has been delayed to 2025, so you do not need to worry about it for this event!
