As life tends to be, the proposal didn't go as planned, but it ended up being amazing and an even funnier story. It resulted in Julian proposing on the north shore of Lake Union in Seattle Washington. Ananda instantly started crying and said yes! She was so surprised by the quick replanning efforts due to Christian Eckert's bike accident (yes - he is okay and doing well). Fun Fact: Julian asked Ananda to be his girlfriend on June 29th 2020. They (Ananda) wanted to keep their anniversary the same so this is also the date of the wedding. For a long time (before they even got engaged) she wanted this to be their wedding date because getting married on their 5 year anniversary seemed very romantic and like a cute “movie moment.”
