After an arduous and unfruitful journey through the trenches of modern dating, our fearless duo are united by the esteemed and honorable app “Hinge”. Digital conversations were had, an invitation was offered, and the twosome agreed to first meet for caffeinated beverages at Stories Coffee in Omaha. Comradery was formed over shared passions for books, metal, animals, and the affinity for moodily wearing black. Months passed, a home was shared, trips were taken. The bond grew, and the couple impulsively added two geckos, one uromastyx, a Maine Coon kitten, and a red footed tortoise to their bustling, small household that was already home to two very spoiled dogs. Then, in August of 2023 something spectacular happened….

What does one do on the hottest weekend of the year? Why go to Lauritzen Gardens for a splendidly, sweaty stroll (but only after donning one’s customary favorite black clothing of course!). After an adventurous morning spent at the farmer’s market and tending to their menagerie, our couple decides to take their annual walk about the regions most splendid garden. Stroll may be an understatement, the pair briskly made their way through the first half of the gardens led by the groom, who upon reaching the rose beds abruptly turned to the bride, nervously declared “ This looks like a good spot!”, dropped to his knee and asked the question of all questions. The bride was truly surprised, and responded by saying “ Oh my God Ross! Oh my God Ross!” and then promptly burst into tears. Merriment ensued and now they wish to celebrate with you!
