Juan and I were both on tinder during quarantine, both bored and not taking it serious or looking for anything serious. One day, I get a message from him asking me if I liked Gordita’s, and if not he’ll start running. I had no idea at the time what a Gordita was but he was cute and his message stood out. So I texted him back. As time went on, we would talk nearly everyday. Even when he was really busy he’d always be sure to send me a text. And when I wouldn’t text him back, he still keeps texting me. It made me realize he was pretty serious about getting to know me. Time went by, and we finally got to meet. I was so nervous, I ran over the curb trying to park my car! This was my first date ever, we had gone to Yamatos in Tyler. Everything was going great, he had gotten me these really vibrant flowers of pink and purple. The date went amazing, as the night went by I was less nervous and shy around him, so much so I told him his trunk of his Honda civic was big enough to fit a body back there… After our time at Yamatos we went shopping and looking around, shorty afterwards saying goodbye and hope to have another date soon. 10 days later, he asks me if I’d like to go on another which is also the same day he asked me to be his girlfriend (10.20.20)
