Juan and I met at the age of 13 in middle school, during the peak of our emo/rocker phase (think Justin Bieber hair… but longer… and eyeliner). Being together since such a young age has definitely come with its challenges. We’ve had our moments, but seeing how we’ve learned to show up for each other, how far we’ve come from the moody teenagers we once were, and the beautiful family we’ve built together makes it all so worth it. We moved in together in January 2020, welcomed our daughter Liliana in October 2020, and then our son Matteo in February 2022. Each milestone came with its own challenges but they also deepened our bond and our love for one another. Not only did we fall in love with one another for who we were at the age of 13, but we continued to fall in love with the people we became, the parents we turned into, and everything in between. Our story isn’t picture perfect, and we may have done a few things backwards, but the one thing that’s always stayed the same is the love and support we have for one another. We’re truly blessed to have found each other so early in life and to still be growing together to this day.
