How We Met!
We met through Youth Group at The Church At Westerly. Sierras mother decided that she needed to start attending church with her Aunt Maggie Lafountain, who at the time was leading the group. After talking for weeks at Youth Group and bonding over learning about God and the bible they finally became friends. One weekend in February was YEC, which is a place for churches to go and have fun with other churches from all over the world. During that trip Chris realized Sierra liked him and asked her for her number. They began talking everyday until finally Sierra asked him out! When telling their parents about being together Chris’s parents were excited that he found a girl with the same beliefs. Sierra’s mom told her that she was sent to Youth Group to find Jesus not a boyfriend!
The Proposal!
On a random week in October Chris told Sierra that they were going to have a date night that weekend! They went to Hogan’s Cider Mill for cider and donuts before going to Mystic Village for dinner. Trattoria Amalfi was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner before the big event! While they were out Jodie, Ron, and Tessa decorated Sierra and Chris’s room with flowers, candles, and gifts. Once they arrived home Chris told Sierra he had a surprise for her in the bedroom. Once inside he popped the question and obviously she said yes! ❤️

Lodging at Purity Spring Resort offers comfortable accommodations for our wedding weekend. We'll be securing a room block to provide convenient and affordable options for our guests. Room rates for the weekend range from $300 to $350, depending on the type of room you choose. To reserve your room, please call the front desk at 603-367-8896, extension 0. If you have any difficulties, ask to speak with Heidi. Please note that you have until 12/26/24 to book your room within our block.

Is there a dress code?

We recommend comfortable attire suitable for a crisp New Hampshire evening. While there's no strict dress code, we suggest layers that will keep you warm and allow you to enjoy the celebration comfortably.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking for our wedding is conveniently located at both venues. For the ceremony, guests will park at the top of the mountain. At the reception site, you'll find ample parking at the hotel, with a short and scenic walk across the street to our celebration.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
The night before our wedding, we're hosting a welcome dinner to bring all of our guests together. This intimate gathering will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to connect, relax, and share in the excitement leading up to our special day.
