Our love story is very different from most. We don't remember the first time we met, or have "first impressions" of each other, because we've known each other our whole lives. Growing up together is one of our favorite things about our relationship. We have very similar memories because we shared most of them. Our schedule was the same, homeschool in the morning, hockey practice in the afternoon, and church at night. We have so many memories messing around at practice together, and many lessons that we learned together in Sunday school every week. We even had the same teachers from the same homeschool curriculum. We could just relate with each other in everything we knew. Now when did our relationship begin? At first we were best friends and teammates, but when we were fourteen we got closer and closer. People told us we were too young and we should just be friends. But we were just friends? Are we just friends? What are we? We denied it until we realized it was real. We did want a relationship. We were inseparable. We went to each other whenever we needed someone, and we leaned on each other and prayed together through everything. Josh started his junior hockey career when he was fifteen so he moved away every hockey season. We thought we'd stop talking as much but we actually started talking more. It was the first time we were apart in our lives and it made us closer than ever. This went on for five years. Josh only came home for the summers so that was the only time we saw each other, but every summer we grew closer. We went through a lot together, lots of highs and lots of lows. By God's grace he kept us strong and He helped us overcome the difficulty of having a long distance relationship. Fast forward to the present. Josh aged out of his junior career so now he is committed to playing college hockey in New York. We thought he would finally move back home until the opportunity arose and of course he took the offer! So what is the future for us? Long distance for another four years? As if five wasn't enough? Thankfully Josh had other plans. On April 24th, he got on one knee and proposed! We will be getting married so we can finally spend life together, side by side. Some people might think we're crazy for getting married so young, but for us we've been waiting since we were kids! We are so blessed to have the support and love from our family and friends who've watched us grow as a couple and mentored us through the years. Now it's time for forever!

We are having a small, intimate, backyard wedding in an Airbnb so we can solely focus on celebrating our marriage covenant with everyone we love. Because it's an Airbnb, we kindly ask guests to respect the property and understand we are in a quiet neighborhood.
Unfortunately we cannot provide accommodations at our venue due to the limited guest count. We recommend checking out local hotels and Airbnb for your stay!
