Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is CASUAL! Please wear what makes you happy. Special note on shoes: Mom and dad have a loooong gravel driveway to walk up (.12 mile) and you will spend most of the evening on grass. Tennis shoes are expected (but not required if you prefer something else).

Thank you for helping us get started as newlyweds! Please know that no gift is required, but if you feel so inclined... there are links to our Zola registry and Amazon registry if you scroll down a little bit. Please consider a donation to Faith Community Church in lieu of a physical gift.

What time should I arrive?

We expect guests to arrive between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. Important times to plan around: The petting farm will be open from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner starts at 5:30 PM To encourage safe driving, alcohol will be limited to passengers only after 7:30 PM

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! They should be included on your invitation. If you have small children and would appreciate some "preferred parking" that is a little closer to the action, please let us know in your RSVP and/or by emailing michelewidener@mfala.org

Yes! Please include any dietary restrictions and food allergies in your RSVP, and/or by emailing michelewidener@mfala.org

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! Please note: This is NOT a wedding ceremony. Our ceremony is taking place on June 3 with immediate family only. The Barn Dance is our opportunity to celebrate with friends and family!

Is there parking for The Barn Dance?

Answer

Guests should park along either side of Indian Falls Road and walk up the well-signed driveway. Have we mentioned there is a long gravel driveway? Sandals and heels are not recommended. If you have small children and/or a person with disabilities in your party, please let us know ahead of time in your RSVP and by emailing michelewidener@mfala.org. We have access to a limited number of preferred parking spots up the driveway and would be happy to accommodate you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Not really... New Boston is a bit out-of-the-way. If you don't want to make a long drive at night, the nearest hotels are in Manchester, NH. To encourage safe driving, alcohol will be limited to passengers only after 7:30 PM. Alternatively, you can have a sleepover in the barn!
