We went on a trip to Los Angeles and Las Vegas last year to see family in LA and to see Lady Gaga sing jazz in Vegas. Or at least that’s what Hilary thought- Josh saw an opportunity to give her the surprise of her life! On our first day in LA, we went to the Broad Museum where there is a ton of amazing pop art and modern art- our favorite type of art- including a whole room full of Jeff Koons pieces (Hilary’s favorite modern artist). While standing in front of the blue balloon dog sculpture, Josh gave his phone to a random woman and asked her to take our photo…then got down on one knee and popped the question! Then while it was still settling in her mind what had just happened- Josh took the surprise even further by saying they could get married in a few days during their Vegas trip! He had it all planned out, booked the wedding chapel at the Punk Rock Museum, a photographer and everything. It was the perfect wedding for us. Now, it’s time to finally celebrate with you all!

This is a Kid Free party, thank you for understanding! As for food- We will have lots of canapés and fun bites going around during the party as well as an open bar! Please plan to Uber or have a DD if you want to drink!
Hotel
This is the hotel we recommend for out of towners or anyone not looking to drive the night of the reception because it is a very short walk from the brewery- we will be staying there and having an after party on their rooftop- they have a bar and wonderful view of the city.
Yes! We are having our reception at a brewery so we wanted everyone to be able to have a great time and not have to worry about looking after kiddos. Drink some beer and celebrate with us!
Yes! There is plenty of free parking at the brewery and surrounding royal square area.
Yes! This is a brewery so it is mostly beer (amazing, the best beer made in York!) and PA crafted cocktails on draft as well as some great PA wine. There will also be soda and water for non alcoholic options.
This will not be a formal dinner- we will have snacks, canapés and small bites followed by cake.
We plan to stay at the Yorktowne hotel with some of our out of town guests and they have a gorgeous rooftop bar and lounge area, so we'll definitely take the party there if you want to join! Please plan to have a DD or uber lined up if you are drinking and not staying at the hotel. We want everyone to be safe!
We plan to have a photographer so dress your best!
Looking for a great coffee spot? This one is right in the square in downtown york- a short walk from the yorktowne. Great coffee, tea and baked goods as well as breakfast/lunch items.
This is one of our favorite date night ideas- a huge arcade right in the heart of downtown! We normally have a beer at holy hound or grab a drink at fig & barrel and head over to play some classic arcade games. So fun!
Looking for a fancier dinner option? Pop in to Bloom for a fantastic meal and cozy chic setting. We frequently grab dinner here when we want something comforting but elevated.
This is a great whiskey bar and fun food spot. We recommend the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and a classic pizza! Pro tip: dip your pizza crust in the Gorgonzola pasta sauce!
Hands down the best pizza you will find in York, PA as well as a quirky atmosphere. Feels like an old school pizza place on a Friday night when you were a kid- but with a bar!
