The couple met at a kava bar Joey was working at. Nyle was informed Joey was recently single and decided to take a chance not expecting anything to happen. Nyle went up to the bar and struck up a conversation. Joey explained he was in college for psychology and Nyle shared she was a CAD drafter for a survey company. Joey made a joke about how Nyle had a “big boy job”. Nyle asked for a post-it note. Nyle wrote down her number and, as Joey likes to explain it, ran away nervously. And the rest is history. The couple still has the post-it note framed for them to remember how it all started.
