Joey & Jonathan’s Love Story: “Always”

Once upon a swipe… Joey wasn’t looking for anything serious that day. Just scrolling, casually judging people’s dog pics and gym selfies. But then, there he was—Jonathon. Sweet smile, eyes full of curiosity, and probably already thinking about dinner. They matched, and what started as a three-hour conversation somehow became a forever plan. Joey invited Jonathon over—yes, on day one—and Jonathon said yes. Some people might call that reckless. They call it fate. And from that moment, time didn’t move in days or months—it moved in “first laughs,” “first Marvel match losses,” and “first time Jonathon asked Joey if the pasta was good enough.” Joey, always the shielded one, the kind of guy who dives into action in Marvel Rivals before thinking (and definitely without backup), never expected someone like Jonathon. Someone who would make him laugh when he wanted to yell at the game. Someone who wouldn’t save him in-game—but would always save him in life. Someone who would look at him like he’s magic during movies, especially during their first Harry Potter marathon, when Jonathon whispered “Always” just a little too emotionally at the end. Jonathon, the guy with the tender heart and chaotic cooking adventures, came in like a warm breeze. He never stopped wanting to learn—especially how to cook. Every new recipe meant a new round of “Joey, taste this,” and Joey—forever the brave one—would try everything. Not because he had to. Because Jonathon’s happiness was more important than any spice level. Together, they became a duo no one saw coming but everyone rooted for. They play fight (Joey wins). They game (Joey tries to save Jonathon, Jonathon forgets to return the favor). They cook (Jonathon tests, Joey survives). And through it all, they love—fiercely, imperfectly, magically. Their love is the kind that doesn’t need a fairytale ending—because it's built into the everyday. It's in Jonathon’s sleepy “I love you” before bed. It’s in Joey’s quiet way of keeping Jonathon safe, even when he pretends not to care. It’s in the look they give each other across the room that says: You. Always you. This story isn’t over. It’s just getting started. And it will always be… Always
