How We Met

5.28.2018

We swiped right... We met for our first date, talked for hours and hours at Starbucks and then went to Targé; I (Rosanna) felt like I had known Jose my entire life; but we weren't ready for each other yet... We officially started dating May 2020 and made it official on July 7th 2020, Jose asked me to be his girlfriend in Sarasota, FL on a fortune cookie.

The Proposal

3.7.23

We had planned our yearly vacation, we first went to Paris (People thought Jose was popping the question there). After Paris, we flew to Morocco, we landed in Marrakesh, took the train to Casablanca and lastly Tangier. Jose had booked a photoshoot for us in an amazing city called Chefchaouen (Blue City). We rented a tiny car (that due to the steep inclines, decided not to go up and drove us back down to the road!) It was raining when we got there, we met our photographer who was born and raised in the town, he gave us an amazing tour and talked about the history of the city. We were about 2 hours in the session, when he decided to take us to this beautiful house with a gorgeous setting (picture ready), he asked me (Rosanna) to pose looking up (I thought it was a silly pose), then he asked me to turn around - I couldn't hear anything he was saying... Then, he asked again, Jose asked again... And there it was! Jose was kneeling down, said the most beautiful words to express his love and commitment and popped the question!
