Ellie and Jorja met in year 7 when they were put in the same classes 7E and 7F, they ended up being best friends and stayed at each others house every school holidays. Ellie has been Jorja's confidant since they started being friends, fast forward to year 11 where Ellie left school to study nursing, Jorja and Ellie stayed close and caught up when they could. Now, 10+ years of friendship later they are still close with Ellie having a little boy names Hugh and Jorja being his aunty.

Jack Lock

There's no question Jack and Thomas have been mates from day one. With their interests aligning from that year 7 school camp in Dunkeld, they stayed close in high school sharing classes like Curtis's English, Mrs Roberts Health, PE and Outdoor Ed where red triangles became iconic, they were Captains to the end. There was a short stint at Uni together where doing laundry and late pool games were more common than classes. Basketball, 2k, movies and memes would keep them close, as well as helping each other through some challenging times, Jack remains to be the constant that Thomas can lean on for anything, especially Uncle duties with Shaq-man.

Ebony and Jorja have been close friends since year 7, same as Ellie. Ebony helped Jorja with maths throughout high school. During the start of 2019, Jorja and Ebony both went to USA together and lent on each other through missing family, to sharing some funny memories. Ebony and Jorja always love catching up and spending a good amount of time talking, once you get them talking they don't stop.

Charlotte Cossens

Charlotte is Thomas's sister and is one person that Jorja can go to for anything. Charlotte has a very kind soul and is a beautiful human being. Charlotte has a little boy named William, who is Jorja and Thomas's nephew. Charlotte has helped Jorja and Thomas through a lot of things and has been there through the huge milestones throughout our lives.

Tayla Love

Tayla and Jorja became friends by starting at the same night job, they grew closer serving drinks, making deserts and cleaning up at the end of some big nights. Tayla was Jorja's first close friend since moving from Portland to Warrnambool and has been a constant person in Jorja's life who she can turn to. Tayla and Jorja's friendship goes from day trips, to having the same dog (Shaq's brother named Bear), to making cookies and going on walks. Tayla and Jorja lean on each other a lot when it comes to Shaq and Bear and Tayla is a great Aunty to Shaqman.

Thomas Birks

Fog, these two are known as T-squared, an addition to the family as his brother 'in-law' but one great brother he is. Lends a hand and continues to give. From building Kennels, late nights of rocket league where the student became the master, to assisting with little brother shenanigans at family events. Fog will always be a shoulder for Thomas and it comes as no surprise he is one of the Groomsmen.

Dylan Archer-Jeffery

Words cannot describe, the memes, the nostalgia, the history of Dylan and Thomas. From being in Charlottes baby group to quickly switching sides after spending one particular school holidays with the Cossens'. Some funny videos and several sprintcar races later, Dylan remains one of Thomas' closest friends and one that he continues to share great times and great laughs with.

Nathan Piscopo

Nathan and Thomas met in 2018 where they kicked it off as part of the Trio known as the Berocca Bros. Nathans ears perked when Thomas started describing the definition of 'Mish' and after finding out he was a Heat fan, there was no turning back. Late nights of jokes, trash talking refs, and teaching Thomas how to do a pre game, these two went from neighbours for a week to life long friends and when they talk investing, no one can get a word in.

Wendy Cossens

Mother of the Groom

The most giving, caring and loving person you will know. Wendy is like a Mum to all and is the reason her children are as determine and hardworking as her. Wendy instilled a high standard of moral guidance throughout Thomas's life and to no surprise continues to show what it means to make the right decision and give compassion to all. Without a doubt Wendy is the mother who helped shape the man Thomas has become.

Michelle Romein

Mother of the Bride

Michelle is one of the most caring, loving and supportive Mum's Jorja knows. Michelle always had a high standard in sport for her children and it shows for Jorja in Netball. Michelle and Jorja have always shared a bond with Netball and continue to go to games in Melbourne. Michelle has always supported other people in the best way she knows how and has taught Jorja to do the same. Michelle taught Jorja how to bake and they share a lot of fond memories with each other in the kitchen, from singing and dancing to having Master Chef Kitchen nights.

Ron Romein

Father of the Bride

Ron is a very caring, loving and supportive Father. From a young age Ron taught Jorja a lot of things such as how to ride a bike, how to swim and how to enjoy holidays and family time. Ron has always been the person Jorja goes to for everything. Ron has always put everyone else's needs before him and has taught Jorja the same. Ron taught Jorja kindness, love for animals and people and to always see the good in people. Ron has always been supportive of Jorja, even when he doesn't understand the rules of netball, he will always be the first one yelling out his support and the first one clapping for her.

Shaq

Our Boy

Shaq is Jorja and Thomas's German Shepherd. Jorja and Thomas picked up Shaq from Ballarat in April 2024, weighing less than 10kg. Fast forward to him almost being 3 years old and weighing over 40kg. Shaq is a kind dog and loves love - cuddles and pats. Shaq knows how to play basketball and his favourite thing to do is play with his spikey ball and go to the beach and swim.
