Let's Fill the Church!
After 12 years of friendship, Jorge and Caro finally decided to give it a go! They went on their first date and knew being just-friends was not their path. Naturally, things progressed fast as their foundation was friendship. They knew how to have fun, laugh and respect each other. Nothing could keep them apart and to make things sweeter on June 10th, 2025 they found out they would be connected for life. Jorge and Caro's love was so strong they formed a new little heart beat. They welcomed their baby boy on January 23, 2026 and knew this family was the biggest blessing for them both. Before their friends, family, and most importantly, God, Jorge and Caro are now ready to seal this love with the sacrament of marriage. Please come to witness the Holy Covenant before God on October 10th at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ. They aim to fill the church with all the people they know and love. You are all important and special in many ways to the Bride and Groom. Your presence will be treasured forever. We hope to see you there!

How should I RSVP?
Answer
You don’t have to RSVP as the doors of the cathedral will be open to all. Feel free to txt Caro if you would like.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus 1, 2, or even 25! If you have a full soccer team, bring them too!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, 100%! Children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration.

What is the dress code?

We should reflect the beautiful setting of the cathedral. Think your “Sunday best.”

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 2:00pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled but not any earlier as there is a wedding preceding us.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there will be parking available on the back end of the cathedral. Additional parking can be found on the east wing, crossing the street or you can choose street parking.

Unfortunately, no reception will follow.

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website. If Amazon works better for you, we also have a small registry on there. Thank you!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
Yes, we encourage you to take photos before or after the ceremony. Please be mindful that this is a church and flashes will be distracting - No Flash. We want to be fully present especially in the presence of our Lord.
