We worked together at Lujack's Auto Dealership in Davenport, IA. Our coworkers tried to get us to go out on a date several months prior to us actually meeting and talking. Finally, I, Jordyn, caved and added him on Facebook. He saw my love for my dogs on my Facebook page, and he sent me a picture of his dog, Bones. We started talking and before we knew it, we were dating. March 7th, 2018 was the day it became official.

On Jordyn's birthday, James took Jordyn up to the Mississippi Palisades in Savannah, Illinois. They both shared a love for hiking even though life happens and they weren't able to go as much as we liked. James took Jordyn out to one of the look outs which gave a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River. There was a really nice couple there who helped James out by taking a video and some photos of the engagement. James proposed to Jordyn with the MOST GORGEOUS black diamond ring, that surprised Jordyn completely!
