Jordyn and Dominic's love story began in 2014 as high school freshmen. Jordyn noticed Dominic first, and after months of her not-so-secret crush, she finally received a text from Dominic. After an excited freak-out, she replied, and their story began. On February 16th, 2014, Dominic asked Jordyn to be his girlfriend on the purple bridge near his house, where they sealed the moment by placing a lock that still remains today. Throughout high school, they made unforgettable memories such as getting their driver’s licenses, attending junior and senior prom, and walking across the graduation stage together. Shortly after high school, they took the next step and moved into their first apartment together, growing as a couple and making unforgettable memories. One of their biggest adventures was searching for the perfect furry addition to their little family. After months of visiting different shelters, they agreed to give it one last try before pausing their search. That’s when fate stepped in—Zane spotted them from across the room, sprinted straight into their arms, and in that instant, they just knew. From that day on, their little family of three was complete, and Zane has been their world ever since. Beyond being high school sweethearts, Jordyn and Dominic are best friends, travel companions, and each other’s better half. Whether they’re exploring a new city, binge-watching their favorite reality TV shows, or simply making fun of each other (which happens daily), they’ve always found joy in just being together. Their relationship is built on love, laughter, and an endless supply of inside jokes. Among their many traditions, one of their favorites is spending New Year’s in San Diego, California, by the bay with Zane. But their trip in December 2023, was different. As they stood by the water, Dominic set up his phone for what Jordyn thought was just a picture. Instead, as they posed, he suddenly dropped to one knee and asked the question she had been (im)patiently waiting for: “Will you marry me?” After nearly 10 years together—and countless times of Jordyn asking when it would happen—she was still completely and utterly shocked. Now, as they prepare for this next chapter in their love story, Jordyn and Dominic are counting down the days until they say "I do" in 2026.
