Yes! We are getting married where we met, on Bald Mountain! Your every day ski outfit, celebratory winter wear, vintage Sun Valley style, furs and fun, are perfect!
Our best day is on the mountain. We hope everyone will ski with friends and family and meet us at the top of Baldy outside of Lookout Lodge promptly at noon to witness our marriage! Following our marriage ceremony, we will toast, celebrate, and make our way down the mountain to get ready for the evening to come.

Suggested Attire: Imagine you have just left MGM Studios in Hollywood, traveled in luxury aboard Averell Harriman's Union Pacific Railroad, to arrive in Sun Valley dressed for an evening of glamor, glitz, and Golden Age Hollywood.
We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family at Roundhouse, part way up Bald Mountain, perfectly situated to capture the winter magic of Sun Valley. Please arrive at River Run to load the Roundhouse Express Gondola at 5:45pm. At Roundhouse we will have cocktail hour downstairs at Averell's followed by dinner, dessert, and music. We are so excited to share our best day with everyone we love. Event parking is available in the lower lot by the River Run bridge. Overnight parking is only permitted in the upper two River Run parking lots. Shuttles will be available from River Run to the Cellar after the reception! Shuttles will be available to take anybody home from the Cellar up until a last call for shuttles at 12:30 am.

We will be having an after party at our go-to, The Cellar Pub, with music, drinks, and late night snacks! We would love for everyone to join us and stay as long as you would like. No need to RSVP! Shuttles home will be available from the Cellar up until 12:30am!

Things To Do
Ski
Of course, Sun Valley in the winter means skiing! Baldy and Dollar Mountain are world class options for alpine skiing, depending on your skiing experience. End your day on Baldy at Apples Bar & Grill or River Run Lodge for apres! Sun Valley Nordic Center has nordic ski rentals and lessons available. The beautiful nordic center is a great spot for lunch or hot chocolate and a nordic ski!

Another favorite winter activity is ice skating. Atkinson's Park in Ketchum is an outdoor, man-made rink offering casual complimentary skating and skates. Alternatively, the outdoor rink at the Sun Valley Lodge is beautiful and fun!
Snowshoe
Rent snowshoes and explore the trails at Galena, or schedule a snowshoe tour! Galena Lodge is a lovely restaurant and cafe north of town in the Boulder Mountains.

Smiley Creek Lodge, about 30 miles north of Sun Valley, offers snowmobile rentals and guided rides. Smiley Creek Lodge has breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the heart of winter wonderland!
