"This is Us"

We went to high school together at North St. Paul High, but never actually met during that time! (Jordan says he does remember Anna, though, as "the hockey girl with a big ponytail") We connected online in early winter of 2021. We went on half a dozen dates within a few weeks before Anna left for a 2-week solo trip to Italy for her 30th birthday! Luckily, we chatted everyday and the excitement grew to see each other again when Anna returned home. We quickly felt a spark and began spending more and more time together. Jordan passed his first big test of traveling up to Grand Marais, one of Anna's favorite places in the world and keeping up with her on his first snowshoeing adventure. In March, we went to Mexico together, and it was on that trip that we both realized we were falling in love. So began our crazy love story full of adventures, new experiences, navigating hardships and non-stop dreaming of what lies ahead for us! We took some epic road trips to Montana, Washington and Colorado. We moved to Duluth and lived on the shores of Lake Superior for a year and then moved back to the twin cities. We traveled to Costa Rica for Anna's Birthday in 2023 and traveled up north to Grand Marais every few months to soak in the beauty and peace of the Northwoods together. In fact, it was in Grand Marais in the fall of 2024 that we took the leap together and decided to get married! In December 2024 we also put an offer in on our first house and moved into our new home in early January 2025! While it has been a whirlwind of big changes, we are so excited for all that lies ahead for us and are so grateful that we found each other. We can't wait to be celebrating our commitment with our closest family and friends in May 2025!

FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Summer dress-y/Sunday best! Jordan and Anna will be in full wedding attire, but we want our guests to be more comfortable given the relaxed nature of our celebration. Attire recommendations: Sun dresses or skirts with nice tops, button ups (short or long sleeve), fun ties, khakis or dress pants. Please no jeans, shorts or full suits. Feel free to embrace the spring and wear bright colors and patterns! Wear appropriate shoes for multiple walking surfaces. The first part of the wedding will be outdoors. While there is a covered space, please be prepared for potential elements!

Question

Adults Only

Answer

We are only inviting adults to our wedding to keep it smaller in size. You’ll see our nephews there, but no other children are being invited.

Your presence at our celebration of our commitment is the most important gift you will be giving :) Please note, both Jordan and Anna are advocates of buying second-hand and deal hunting! Please contact Jordan or Anna if you found a better deal or used item elsewhere similar to a listed item and we will remove it from the registry! Our new home address is 293 Burlington road Saint Paul MN 55119

The closest hotels are all about 15-25 minutes from the Whitetail woods Regional Park in any direction! Eagan, Apple Valley or Saint Paul would all be viable options.
