It was a night like any other in downtown San Diego, yet it would become a night that changed our lives forever. The city was alive with energy, and amidst the vibrant lights and music, we crossed paths at a social club. We exchanged smiles and soon found ourselves deep in conversation, discovering a connection that felt both exciting and effortless.

As the pandemic changed the world, our relationship only grew stronger. We spent countless hours talking, getting to know each other deeply, and finding comfort in our connection. In August 2020, John moved to Washington, D.C to continue his Navy career, and we faced the challenge of being miles apart. Despite the distance, our love remained unshaken. In January 2021, we planned a trip for a nice reunion in the big city of Washington, D.C, where we explored the city and rekindled our connection in person. That next month, on February 1st, we began our long-distance relationship officially. The next six months were filled with phone calls, video chats, and messages that kept our love alive. Each conversation brought us closer, and we found strength in our unwavering commitment to each other. In August 2021, we were reunited once again, this time permanently and eager to start our life together. Now, we’ve embarked on a new adventure and settled into our new home in Austin, TX. Our love story is a testament to resilience and the power of connection. From our first meeting in San Diego to overcoming the challenges of long-distance love, every moment has brought us closer to the beautiful future we now look forward to sharing.
