We'd love for you to join us for an afternoon on the water to sightsee, swim, and snorkel! Our captain will anchor for us to jump in the water if you're up for it. There will be access to snorkel equipment and a Lily Pad floaty to enjoy the Sea of Cortez! Otherwise, feel free to enjoy music, good views, and great company on board. There will be light bites along with a full bar provided as well as access to a restroom. This is an optional event for anyone who has arrived prior to Friday AM :) An Uber ride to Pez Gato ranges from $5-10/ride or is about a mile walk through the scenic marina from our recommended hotels.

We will have a sunset ceremony on the terrace at Casa Dorada beginning at 4:30p, with reception to follow on site. Please arrive early to grab a cocktail & find your seats! This will be a phone free ceremony. FYI Casa Dorada's Terrace is located just beyond the pool through the covered walkway. We'll meet you there :)

Uber is easily accessible for daily travel in downtown Cabo. If you do not have the Uber app on your phone, I highly recommend downloading it and setting up an account prior to your arrival to Cabo. FYI most Uber vehicles in Dowtown Los Cabos are very small so plan accordingly with a group for potentially separate rides.

Medano Hotel is in the heart of Medano Beach. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Casa Dorada and acts as a second hotel we recommend staying should you prefer to stay off site. Things To Do
The Office on the Beach
If you can't tell by the photo of John taking a tequila shot, this place is a great time! The Office is a beachfront restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner and will not disappoint! John and I have made a reservation on each of our previous trips here and agree that cocktails and the view are the best things about this restaurant. They offer primarily authentic Mexican, Seafood, with a variety of options available on their menu! While you can absolutely walk in for a meal earlier in the day, I recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure availability if you want to go for dinner. We recommend their house tequila and ordering a Mexican coffee - it is a full on fire show! Like I said, we come here to party!
Cabo Adventures
Sailing, ATV, Zipline, Swim with Dolphins, Snorkel - The possibilities are endless with Cabo Adventures! If you're looking for activities to enjoy all that Cabo has to offer, this company is incredible! These experiences are typically in small groups (~20 people.) We highly recommend booking any activities weeks in advance to avoid issues with availability during preferred times. We recommend snorkeling, ATV, or a sunset sail. Yes, that is John floating in Sea of Cortez :)
Italian Job Restaurant
We highly recommend trying Italian Job for dinner while you're in Cabo. This restaurant is located less than 0.1 mile walk from the recommended hotels. If you're looking for authentic Italian, great wine, or wood fired pizza, this is an awesome choice! We recommend ordering the lasagna or one of their calzones :)
La Pizza Nostra
If you haven't noticed a theme here yet, Cabo loves to open Italian restaurants! We had a wonderful date night dinner here at La Pizza Nostra's open air restaurant. The staff is exceptional! This restaurant makes for a romantic evening for two or is equipped for a group dinner. I recommend simply calling for availability day of as it is a smaller restaurant - we did not prearrange a reservation here and had no issue. We recommend ordering chicken parmesan or any of their pizzas :)

What should I expect if I'm visiting Cabo for the first time?

We are so excited to motivate you to visit Cabo! Not only is Cabo naturally beautiful but the locals take pride in keeping their town inviting & clean! Medano Beach is the neighborhood of Downtown Cabo San Lucas that we will be getting married in and it is full of welcoming people, swimmable beaches, exceptional customer service, a variety of local restaurants, and plenty of shopping and night life nearby. We have always felt safe here, even on our tipsy walks back to the hotel at night. As always, be aware of your surroundings & stay in a group :)

What activities are available in Cabo?

Please take advantage of your time in Cabo to explore and do excursions! We have listed details on our 'Things to Do' section of this site of Cabo Adventures. This professional service provides unforgettable outdoor experiences! We highly recommend booking at least one activity either on the water or out in the desert with Cabo Adventures! If you prefer to stay closer to the resort, Medano Beach has numerous activities you can sign up to do within 0.1 miles of the recommended resorts, right on the beach. There is paddle boarding, jet skiing, self-propelled wakeboarding, and more! Highly recommend having a bit of cash with you to enjoy these activities :)

Are there any convenient stores or pharmacies nearby?
Answer
Yes! There are both convenient stores and pharmacies (CVS equivalent) within walking distance from the recommended resorts, about 0.2 mile walk away from Medano Beach. Should you forget a necessity or find you need more Advil for a lingering hangover, both Medano Hotel and Casa Dorada also have small conveniences available for purchase on site!
