Our Story
After a few months of dating, we set out on a hiking adventure in Woodstock, NY. The trail, ironically named Devil’s Path almost led us astray, and our night in a "glamping" tent was devoid of sheets due to an Airbnb oversight, yet none of these mishaps mattered. We were just giddy to be experiencing it together and to have the opportunity to connect on a deeper level. Time passed quickly and life unfolded with pure love and ease. This spring, having settled into our life together, our rescue kitten Tai transformed into a clingy, yet well adjusted young adult, John planned another hiking trip. This time to Mohonk Preserve, where our Airbnb not only included sheets but a handmade cat staircase. The hike itself was perfectly planned, yet the thrill, intimacy, and laughter we first found in Woodstock remained. And amid the heights of Skytop Tower, John chose that moment to propose, marking another unforgettable chapter in our story.

We're having a small wedding with close friends and family. We’ll kick it off with nuptials, followed by cocktails & apps, a dinner buffet, dancing, cornhole and celebrating on the property overlooking the lake. Please let us know if you’re able to join us!

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
In lieu of a wedding registry, we will have a designated spot at the wedding for guests who wish to leave a card.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire We’re thinking not overly formal and encouraging guests to be dressed a step above smart casual. Dresses above-the-knee hem (or any length above floor length) works, and a suit or sports jacket with a dress shirt (tie optional) is great.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we are keeping the guest list small. As such, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Is there parking?
Answer
There will be plenty of street parking available around the house for guests.

Can I travel by train?
Answer
You can take the LIRR to the Patchogue train station, which is only a 5-minute drive from the house. If you plan to take the train, let us know in advance so we can arrange for someone to pick you up from the station, or Uber is another option. Trains run frequently from Patchogue station, making it a convenient option for our NYC guests.

Do you have a hotel block reserved?
Answer
We kindly ask that you make your own accommodation arrangements. As it is a busy time of year, we recommend booking a hotel or Airbnb as soon as possible to ensure availability.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels?
Answer
Since all guests will have different overnight accommodations, we will not be providing a shuttle to any specific hotel. However, there are Ubers available in Patchogue that can be called or scheduled in advance for a specific pickup time.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions that we should be aware of as we finalize our catering options.

Are there any other events planned for the wedding?
Answer
Since our wedding is coming up soon, we aren't planning any other events leading up to the big day. However, keep us posted on your travel plans! We can organize a fun hang in NYC or Long Island either before or after the wedding.
