From Gulf Road, turn south onto Smith Neck Rd and drive about a quarter mile to the sandy parking lot. We will have the ceremony on the beach, on the east side of the road. In the event of rain, we will meet at the gazebo in Apponagansett Beach just down the road at 77 Gulf Rd, Dartmouth MA 02748.

Pictures, conversations, enjoying the scenery

4:15 pm - 4:45 pm

Walk or Drive to Scuttlebutt

4:45 pm - 5:00 pm

Reception

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Please join us for an "apéro dînatoire" (fancy French name for a meal composed of finger foods) following the ceremony. There will be plenty of seating available to rest your feet, but there will not be a seating plan because we want everyone to mingle. Our venue, Scuttlebutt, also has outdoor seating with heaters. If the weather is nice, we might set up the bar outside. Dress accordingly!

FAQs

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to us directly if we haven't discussed this already.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

A selection of hearty vegetarian and pescatarian (shellfish) hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. Dairy-free options will be available. We are providing beer, wine, basic bar selection and a signature mocktail during the reception. The last hour (8-9PM) will be a cash bar.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. Scuttlebutt will be preparing grilled cheese sandwiches for the little ones.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a sandy parking lot right along the beach. Please use the coordinates (41.5823, -70.9502) in your GPS for the exact spot. Reception: There is limited parking directly at Scuttlebutt on Bridge St, and there is plentiful on-street parking on the neighboring streets downtown Padanaram. Ceremony Raincheck: In the event of rain, we will meet at Apponagansett Park where there are plenty of spots.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45PM. We aim to start our brief ceremony by 4PM and the rest of the time will be for enjoying the scenery and the company.

Question

How many people will be attending?

Answer

We are having a tiny wedding with close friends and family from the USA. We will be around 20 people.

Question

What about your Québécois family and friends?
