We met at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, where Anthony worked as a Park Ranger, and Jo was working as a field technician for a research study on the feral horses in the park. We didn't know then that just one year later we would start dating, and 3 years later get engaged in the little town of Medora, North Dakota.
After Jo left to start her Master's degree in Nebraska, Anthony was still in North Dakota working as a Sheriffs Deputy. In October, Jo came back up to Medora to help out with the bison capture at the National Park, and Anthony took the opportunity to propose out between the two cottonwoods you see in the main page photo. This spot was special, as Jo had always talked about how beautiful this nestled little meadow was, and nearby rests Jo's beloved horse Gatsby, the black gelding also in the picture. This will now be the location where Jo and Anthony exchange their vows.
