12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
As there will be Jewish prayers being recited it is customary for all attendees who identify as male to wear a head covering, women and non-binary individuals may also wear a head covering if they'd like. Kippot/Yarmulkes will be available for all attendees. A regular hat will also be appropriate as well.
There are few parking spots so we'd recommend carpooling as much as possible as to not take up the entire parking lot. There won't be seating so please be prepared to stand for 30-40 minutes (wear comfy shoes). - Park benches will be there for those who need to rest. As this is a public space please be respectful of the residential neighbors and of park goers.

A narrow street filled to the brim with cute shops and places to get yummy treats located in the heart of Victoria's Chinatown. (Fun fact: Victoria's Chinatown is Canada's oldest and North America's second oldest Chinatown! Also Fan Tan Alley is known as Canada's narrowest street).
Not much needs to be said... but that won't stop us anyway! The Legislative Assembly is the first thing people think of when they visualize Victoria and for good reason! It's on so many postcards and let's be honest it was probably on one of the souvenirs your family gave you when they returned from their own trip. It's a beautiful example of Baroque Revival architecture and a high recommendation for picture taking. There are free guided tours as well if you're so inclined.
Located near the Inner Harbor and BC Legislative Assembly, Fisherman's Warf is an area with a collection of floating homes and seafood restaurants. A really cute place to take your significant other on a date. ;)
A beautiful 74 hectare Victorian inspired park. Home to a petting zoo, wandering peacocks, and gorgeous gardens it's a great place to wander through after a busy day.
Founded in 1886 the Royal British Columbia Museum is a jewel for the city of Victoria. Home to some of the most extensive natural and cultural exhibitions in the country, it's a mentally and emotionally stimulating experience for curious minds. If you're from out of province and wish to learn more about local Indigenous and settler history look no further. It also just so happens to host the largest IMAX screen in the province, not a bad way to spend an afternoon eh?
Just outside Beacon Hill Park Finlayson Point and the road leading to it is an accessible jaunt with beautiful views of the inner harbor. Just make sure to not lose your hat because it's notoriously windy out there!
There is no formal dress code! Please wear whatever you find comfortable and/or stylish~ Please note though mid-August in Victoria is quite warm. For safety reasons (and for the sake of comfort) we'd recommend wearing something light for the ceremony. The only "requirement" we respectfully ask is for those who identify as male to have a head covering for the ceremony as Jewish prayers will be recited. Individuals who identify as female or non-binary may also wear a head covering if they wish. This can be in the form of a favourite hat or by wearing a kippah (Jewish head covering). Kippot (plural for kippah) will be provided for all attendees.
