Joe and I met in 2018 while attending UCCI; we were friends, but he was convinced he would marry me from then; he even told me so via text. I wasn't paying that any mind, though, and in 2019, I left for the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, and we lost contact. Then, the entire world was shaken by the pandemic, and I returned home to Cayman in April 2020. During quarantine, I posted photos on my Snapchat showing I was home; Joe messaged me instantly, and we started getting to know each other again. On our first date, he took me to Abacus in Camana Bay for my 20th birthday; it was a never-forgotten experience; we loved the appetisers, but the entrees were terrible. We still laugh about it today. We often describe our reuniting as predestined as we came together at a chaotic time for the world but the perfect time for us. We are so grateful to God for all he has done in our lives and how He has guided our relationship. We continue to strive to have a relationship rooted and centred in Christ alone; He is our source.

Travel Note
Our guests with a Cayman Islands or UK passport DO NOT need a Canadian Visa. Still, you must apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to enter Canada as a visitor. Please apply for this document at least three days before your scheduled flight, as the agent/s checking you in will ask for it. Please click "view" below for the link to the application. Should you need help with this process, please reach out.
Travel Note
Our guests with ONLY a Jamaican passport DO need a Canadian visitor visa. This entails travelling to Jamaica to give biometric information. Please do this months in advance, as it can be a lengthy process. You will NOT need an ETA because you are visa-required. Please click the "view" button below for the link to the application. Should you need help with this process, please reach out.
Travel Note
ETAs are valid for 5 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. If you are unsure if your ETA is still valid for travel, please click "view" below; the link will take you to the Canadian Immigration website to check the validity of your ETA. Some of the information you need can be found in the email confirmation that the Canadian immigration office sent you when you initially applied for the ETA.

If you can RSVP when you receive your invitation, that would be great and very helpful! the last day to RSVP is February 1, 2025. If we do not receive an RSVP by the date provided, your invitation will be marked as a "no". We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we must provide total guest counts to our vendor on time. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVPs; we hope you understand.
We recommend that you arrive at least 20-30 minutes before our noon ceremony time. This gives us enough time to be on schedule. We will not be waiting, and you will not be allowed to enter if the ceremony has already started.
For the women in attendance, we kindly ask that you avoid colours traditionally reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory, and creams. We are asking that both men and women wear BLACK. For the women, e.g. floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses. The men, e.g. black suits with/without black neckties/bowties or black dress shirts and slacks. Men can wear white dress shirts IF they are wearing a full suit (e.g. black dress pants, black blazer and white dress shirt). If the men are NOT wearing a full suit, please REFRAIN from wearing white and come dressed in all black. Please adhere to the dress code.
We are having an unplugged ceremony. We hired a photographer and videographer to capture all the special moments. We will share the photos at our discretion after we receive them.
The menu will be uploaded once we've decided on something delicious. Please let us know if you or anyone in your family who will be in attendance has any dietary restrictions.
Be comfortable for the plane ride. Coming to PEI is a journey that may include one or multiple stops, depending on the airline you choose. Though it will be summer, we advise that you bring a light jacket or a sweater with you as the weather can be unpredictable, though we hope for tons of sunshine! Otherwise, pack for warm weather.
