From Best Friends to Forever
We met when I (Jodalynn) was a sophomore and Daniel was a junior through our mutual friend, Hailey. After I saw how he treated his friends, and after I got to know him, I developed a huge crush on him. EVERYONE knew that I liked Daniel, except Daniel. Go figure. We became close and I considered him one of my best friends. Fast forward to July 6, 2018 at 3:00 am, Daniel asked me out (another story for another time). It was a tough year for my family and me, but he was by my side and helped me through it all. We were good—really good—but something still felt missing. That’s when we leaned into our faith. We were already Christians, but we were lukewarm. Once we went deeper, everything changed. Our faith has changed our hearts, strengthened our relationship, and changed the way we saw our future. We put God right in the center, and suddenly everything aligned. I didn’t think it was possible to love him more than I already did—but here we are. I’m marrying my best friend, and I couldn’t feel more blessed!

What do we wear?
Answer
Formal attire ONLY! You will not be let in if you are wearing shorts, tank tops, crop tops, flip flops etc. Dress, dress shirt, slacks, pant suits, etc allowed.

What colors are OFF LIMITS to wear?
Answer
Do NOT wear lavender, dusty blue, or eucalyptus/sage green. Darker shades of those are accepted, but please be wary of lighter shades. NO white or ivory for obvious reasons.

Can we bring our children?
Answer
While we love your children, if you can find child care, we would prefer that. But if not, they are allowed to come. The responsibility of them falls on the parents. There will be no child care. The responsibility of ANY damages will also fall on the parents.

So..alcohol...and smoking
Answer
Outside alcohol and food will be prohibited. Alcohol will be offered, but in limited quantities. No alcohol will be served to any minors and/or intoxicated persons. There will be designated areas to smoke outside. Smoking/ vaping inside or littering on the property will result in us not getting our deposit back and getting fined. So please help us out.

Why are there so many rules? Yall are being lame.

I understand there is a lot to be conscious of and we all just want to have a good time, but any damages or any rules broken can cause us ( yes Daniel and I) to not get our deposit back and possibly get fined. Let's just be mindful and safe. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
