Joangela y Danny se conocieron en la universidad durante el semestre de otoño del 2015. Se conocieron en una clase de honores de Cálculo II, donde inmediatamente conectaron por ser los únicos latinos. Unos meses después comenzaron a salir, pero se convirtieron oficialmente en pareja en Junio del 2016. El día en que se convirtieron oficialmente en novios, Joangela sorprendió a Danny con un picnic de despedida en el parque, ya que Danny estaba a punto de pasar el verano realizando investigaciones en la NASA. Durante su cita, Danny tambien sorprendió a Joangela pidiéndole que fuera su novia y dándole un anillo de promesa… y como dicen, el resto es historia. Joangela y Danny comenzaron su relación a una edad temprana (19 y 20 años), por ende se han unido mas con el paso de los años y se han convertido en la mejor version para cada uno. A lo largo de su relación, se han brindado amor, compasión, comprensión y un espacio seguro para ser ellos mismos. Uno de los recuerdos favoritos de Joangela y Danny son sus aventuras de viajes. Están increíblemente agradecidos por todos los recuerdos que han creado juntos y las lecciones de vida que han aprendido. La propuesta de matrimonio de Joangela y Danny fue mágica. Sin embargo, la preparación el día de la propuesta no tanto ya que el clima no cooperó. Cuando empezó a atardecer, Joangela y sus padres llegaron a la azotea de su edificio. Joangela se sorprendió al ver las hermosas palabras "CÁSATE CONMIGO" al final del pasillo. Danny tomó su mano y la llevó al centro de la azotea, donde comenzó a cantar la canción que había preparado para ella. Cuando terminó la canción, Danny se arrodilló y sacó el anillo. Le pidió a Joangela que se casara con él y ella dijo que ¡sí! Sus familias aplaudieron y felicitaron a la pareja recién comprometida. Joangela y Danny están muy emocionados de que te unas a ellos mientras se dicen el "Sí, quiero" en su boda en Nueva York en Julio del 2024. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

Joangela and Danny met in college during the fall of 2015. They met in a Calculus II honors class, where they immediately bonded over being the only Latinos. A few months later, they started dating, but they officially became a couple in June 2016. On the day they officially became a couple, Joangela surprised Danny with a farewell picnic in the park as Danny was about to spend the summer conducting research at NASA. During their date, Danny surprised Joangela by asking her to be his girlfriend and giving her a promise ring, and as they say, the rest is history. Joangela and Danny began their relationship at a young age (19 and 20 years old), and they have grown together and shaped themselves to become the best partners for each other. Throughout their relationship, they have given each other love, compassion, understanding, and a safe space to be their authentic selves. One of Joangela and Danny's favorite memories are their traveling adventures. They are incredibly grateful for all the memories they have made together and the life lessons they have learned. Joangela and Danny's proposal was magical. However, prepping on the day of the proposal not so much since the weather was not cooperating. As the sun began to set, Joangela and her parents arrived at the rooftop of their building. Joangela was surprised to see the beautiful setup with the "MARRY ME" words at the end of the aisle. Danny took her hand and led her to the center of the rooftop, where he started singing the song he had prepared for her. When he finished the song, Danny got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. He asked Joangela to marry him, and she said yes! Their families cheered and congratulated the newly engaged couple.
