Cowboy Cocktail
Wear your cowboy hats, boots, and bolos. Add this to a traditional cocktail outfit or go full western attire - we love it all! We have shuttles running from each hotel to Sagebrush. Please be downstairs at your hotel by 5:00pm. Buses will depart at 5:10pm. Spots are first come, first serve, so if you miss your bus or the shuttle is full, we recommend grabbing an Uber. Shuttles will also be running from Sagebrush back to the hotels throughout the evening - first shuttle at 9:30pm, with the last one leaving at 1:00am.

We’ll be heading to C-Boys Heart & Soul from 3:30pm – 6:30pm for a few cold ones, some live tunes, and the main event — Chicken Shit Bingo. Bring cash (you’ll need dollar bills for bingo) Please note: This isn’t a hosted event — it’s a casual meet-up, so drinks and fod are at your own expense.

International Travellers Visa (ESTA)
For those of you joining us from outside of the United States, you will need to apply and be approved for an ESTA Visa. The approval process typically takes 24 hours and is best done at least 72 hours before you depart. The ESTA is valid for 2 years after approval, and you will NOT be allowed to board your flight to the US without one. If you have questions please reach out to Jimmy or Laura.

One of Laura's favorite places in the world. Perfect for a quick afternoon dip and/or hangover cure
Walk the Trail at Lady Bird Lake
Another favorite. You'll probably catch Laura and some combination of Brocks here in the early morning (Jimmy will still be sleeping).
Butler Pitch & Putt
9-hole, par 3 pitch & putt, with food and beer garden. Where you can probably find Jimmy and the boys when he's not getting married.
South Congress
Indulge in some delicious food, shopping, and live music walking along one of Austin's most popular streets.
Matt's El Rancho
An Austin staple. Don't skip the mexican martini or the world famous Bob Armstrong's dip :).
The Continental Club
This Austin hotspot is an excellent place for live music, and Laura will probably go with you if you want.
Cosmic Coffee
Great outdoorsy spot for a big group. Doesn't matter what time of day it is, don't skip the boozy coffee. Also fire breakfast and lunch tacos, poke, etc. They also have a great location on the east side. Two locations. The one listed is in S. Austin and then this one here in on the Eastside: 1300 E. 4th St
Veracruz All Natural
Speaking of bfast tacos, these are some of Laura's fave. Also smoothies and other goodies. Lots of locations all around Austin. It can get crowded in the morning, so would recommend ordering for pick up to skip the line.

A classic two-step bar in Austin, live music every night. We love it!

There is limited parking at the venue, so we'd recommend not driving. We'll have shuttles from the hotels (details to come), or ride shares (and waymos) are readily available in Austin.

What weather should we expect?

March in Austin is beautiful - usually mild and sunny with highs in the mid-70s F (low 20s C). The ceremony and reception will take place inside, and dinner will be outside under a tent.

Will there be an afterparty?
Answer
Duh! The celebration doesn't stop after the reception - we'll keep the party going at Sagebrush starting at 11PM. Please note, the afterparty will be a cash bar, so bring a card or a little cash if you'd like to keep the drinks flowing.

Do I need to rent a car in Austin?
Answer
You certainly can if you'd like to explore areas outside of the Austin city limits, but you definitely don't need to. Everything we're doing that weekend will be central, and there are ride shares everywhere.
