Like most couples in the 21st Century, Nicole & Jillian met on the dating app “Hinge.” Jillian had an ice breaker question with options on what to do on their first date. Those options were: 1. Walk dogs at the animal shelter. 2. Dominate Trivia Night 3. Start a squirrel fight club. In an attempt to sound normal, Nicole chose to dominate Trivia Night. Despite picking the “boring answer”, Jillian says that by her profile, Nicole looked like her kind of crazy so she messaged back. They spoke for over a month until Jillian moved to Fort Worth for work and went on their first date on January 17th, 2024
Jillian and Nicole both had agreed that until they made it official, they would assume that both were dating other people. Spending a lot of time together, it was clear that there were feelings but neither person took the initiative to make it official. This left questions on if they were feeling the same thing. While Nicole was on a date with another person, she came to the realization of “Oh sh*t, I caught feelings.” because she felt like she was cheating on Jillian. She instantly messaged Jillian and asked if she could come over when she got off work to discuss this epiphany. Through discussion and clearly some miscommunication, Jillian & Nicole came to the agreement that they would reevaluate the status of a relationship in a few weeks as they continued to spend every available moment with each other. On St. Patrick’s Day, Nicole invited Jillian out with a few friends to go do their St. Patty Day tradition. At the end of the night, Jillian and Nicole were laughing as Jillian sent a meme that clearly showed the intention that she wanted more than a friendship. Nicole questioned as they had said they were going to wait because Jillian wasn’t ready. To which Jillian countered that she was waiting because she was under the impression Nicole was not ready. They both looked at each other and agreed to talk about it once they were not in mixed company. Later at Nicole’s place, they were able to determine that the conversation that took place a week prior was full of miscommunication. They decided that night to make their relationship official.
Nicole & Jillian realized that neither wanted to live without the other. Having discussed marriage and their future together, it was clear to both that it was just a matter of time. On November 23rd, at their weekly Saturday night hang out spot, Jillian and Nicole went to sing karaoke with their friends. Towards the end of the evening, Jillian got up to sing “I’d Love to be Your Last” by Clay Walker. This song is special as it is the first song Jillian ever sang to Nicole. Jillian asked Nicole to sit near her as she sang this song to her. At the end of the song, Jillian got down on one knee and proposed. Nicole filled with tears of joy, accepted.

Wedding party coming soon!
We're making a list of our favorite activities and sights in the area. Check back soon.
We are kindly asking that you let us know as soon as possible as this a short turn around. Latest would be January 3rd.
While we know that families are important, we ask that you use discretion if bringing children. There may be adult jokes during the ceremony and alcohol will be present at the after party.
We expect you to bring your person with you. Weddings are a time of joy and we don’t want you to feel alone at our celebration. We have accommodated for couples. Any one who is a single party is welcome to bring a plus one.
It is an outdoor wedding in January in the state of Texas, so who knows? Dress warmly for outside and know that after the ceremony you are free to move inside or stay outside as you wish! Sunday Best is fine with us, we really just want your company. Our only request is no jeans, please. Music will be playing and we expect some fun as we celebrate being married.
Since we already have started our life together, we do not need any of the “normal” wedding gifts. If you feel the need to provide a gift, we ask that you consider a monetary donation to either our Honeymoon fund or to The Trevor Project that supports LGBTQ youth.
As this will be at our home, and we don’t want to be a nuisance to our new neighbors, we ask that you park along Boswell Meadows as their is a long strip that runs along the sides of houses or at the Kroger on Bailey Boswell. If you park at the Kroger we will have someone come and get you. Text Jillian or Nicole when you arrive.
Before and after the ceremony is fair game. During the ceremony, we have hired a professional and want them to be the only ones capturing this special time. Please enjoy our ceremony device free and we promise to share our pictures with you once we have them.
Warm beverages will be available before the ceremony. A selection of warm soups and beverages will be available after. If you have major dietary restrictions, please message Nicole or Jillian.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
