Swiping Right into Forever
Who would have thought that a terrible dating app like Black Gentry could lead to the formation of a beautiful family? We started chatting in June 2023, bonding over our shared love of old-school R&B, our crazy jobs, and our families. Jide, ever the patient one, took his sweet time asking us out. It wasn't until July 28th, 2023, that we finally met face-to-face. And let’s just say, it was pretty darn close to love at first sight. Since then, we've been inseparable, chatting every day (yes, every day!) and spending quality time together every week. Fast forward to September 2024, Jide had a secret plan: a shiny new ring. But he kept it a secret for months! Finally, on November 21st, 2024, he popped the question. We've already embarked on amazing adventures together, from the historical wonders of Turkey and Egypt to the bustling streets of America. And now, we’re excited to start our next chapter as a family, with Leon by our side. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all our friends and family at our wedding, where we hope everyone will dance, sing, and be joyful.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Please RSVP by January 20, 2025. If we haven't heard from you by this date, we'll assume you won't be able to join us.

Are children allowed at the wedding?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are the children specifically mentioned on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun evening with us!

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding guest list is limited to those named on the invitation, so unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus ones.

What if someone not listed on the invitation shows up?
Answer
To ensure everyone’s comfort and security, only invited guests will be allowed entry to the venue. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in respecting this policy.

Can I bring my own alcohol or food to the wedding?
Answer
No, outside alcohol or food is not permitted at the wedding. The venue strictly enforces this policy, and anyone found with outside alcohol may be asked to leave. Don’t worry, though—there will be plenty of delicious food and drinks provided for everyone to enjoy!

Is parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, High House Weddings offers a large private car park for guests. You are welcome to leave your car overnight; however, collection the following morning is between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., with no access outside of these times.
