We first met in Biology class during a lab, where we were grouped together. Kiet, at the time, was running on 700mg of caffeine, and his task was to pipette 5 mL of solution onto the flask disc for microscopic observations. As he performed his task, his hands were trembling, which made both of us laugh. "That was the first time I noticed how beautiful a smile can be." – Kiet, 2016 We made plans with our group to study at the school library, but the other three members flaked, leaving just the two of us. Whether by coincidence or fate, we ended up not studying at all but talked for over eight hours. "That is the first man I've met who is so kind, patient, and funny." – Chloe, 2016

Nevertheless, try your best and make the most of it. Try not to look rich. Don’t wear expensive clothing or jewelry if you’re out for a day of shopping. Don’t carry large bills or at least don’t make them visible to the shop keeper. It’s best to be prepared with small bills and separate the rest of your money from the small change.
