Guests are encouraged to arrive by 10:30 AM, at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. This ensures plenty of time to find parking, get seated, and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Where can guests park near the Cathedral?

Answer

Parking Options near the Cathedral (125 Eagle St, Albany, NY): • Madison Ave East Lot – Free on weekends; entrance off Madison Ave next to the Cathedral. • Madison & Eagle Garage – Free parking; entrance on Philip St, just off Madison Ave. • Empire State Plaza East Garage – Free on Saturdays and Sundays; located across Madison Ave from Bleecker Park. All options are a short walk to the Cathedral.

Will There Be a Full Catholic Mass?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony will include a full Nuptial Mass and last about an hour. This includes the Liturgy of the Word, the Rite of Marriage, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (Communion). Guests of all faith backgrounds are warmly welcome. If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive Communion, you are still invited to come forward for a blessing or remain seated during that part of the Mass.

What’s the Reception Plan?

We’re hosting a sit-down dinner at Ferrari’s Ristorante from 1:30–3:30 PM for all guests. Later, we’ve reserved a semi-private outdoor lounge at Shaker & Vine from 5:15–8:15 PM for those who’d like to continue the celebration. Space is limited to small groups at a time, and food and drinks will be available for purchase. It’s a relaxed, optional gathering, so join us if you’d like! For anyone still up for more fun, Rivers Casino is just steps away to end the night.

What’s the best way to get around?

Answer

All event locations are within a short drive of each other. We recommend carpooling, using a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft), or driving. Parking is available at each venue, including the Cathedral, Ferrari’s, and Mohawk Harbor (home to Shaker & Vine and Rivers Casino).
