The best ice cream in Austin! Founded by a UT Austin graduate, Amy's is an Austin classic that is perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. Recommend trying the Mexican Vanilla with strawberries mashed in. There is also another Amy's close by on 6th Street.
Jeune's favorite tacos and burritos place on campus - she thinks it's better than Torchy's, but test for yourself!
Jeune's favorite place to get boba on campus! Jeune's go-to order for a study session is original boba milk tea (taro once in a while) with noodles.
If you're looking for Tex-Mex - when Per's family came to visit Austin, they found Joann's Fine Foods. It was so fine they went back twice in one week!!
A classic Austin brunch spot with unlimited coffee!
Another Jeune favorite on campus - the pad thai is amazing!
Formerly called Cafe Medici, highly recommended campus coffee shop
The best donuts in the world, seriously. Try the original, the chocolate iced, large jalapeno and cheese kolache, and the Texas-sized Donut!
An art museum right across from the hotel if you're looking for things to do in Austin but don't want to be outside in the July heat.
Beautiful library and museum on campus - go see art from Ancient Egypt and one of the last surviving Gutenberg Bibles!
