The area around the courthouse has cobblestone walkways, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes, stable shoes (avoid thin heels if possible).

Where is the Mural Room?

Answer

The Mural Room is located on the second floor of the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Here is how to get there: 1. Enter the courthouse through the main entrance at 1100 Anacapa Street. 2. Once inside, take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. 3. When you reach the second floor, turn right. The Mural Room will be just ahead on your right.

Per facility guidelines: Please no food or drinks in the Mural Room. No flash photography, please take your pictures and videos, just no flash. No rice, sequins, glitter, flower petals.

Where should we park?

Answer

We suggest Lot 7, located directly across from the courthouse on Anacapa Street (next to the Santa Barbara Public Library). The first 75 minutes are free, with a $3.00 charge for each hour or part of an hour after. Since our event will be from 10am to 5:30pm, most guests will spend up to $20, with a maximum daily limit of $33 per 24 hours.

Are there any free parking options nearby?

Yes, free street parking is limited and subject to restrictions: 1. 2-Hour Free Parking: Several streets around the courthouse, Anacapa Street and Santa Barbara Street, offer 2-Hour free parking during certain hours. 2. Unrestricted Free Parking near Alameda Park (Address: 1400 Santa Barbara St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101), unlimited free parking. It does require a 5-7 minute walk.
