Our story began in 2019 during a night out in Charlotte, NC. Jonathan saw something he liked and made it clear that Jessikia wasn’t leaving the club without at least exchanging numbers. From that moment on, the connection was undeniable. After their first date, Jessikia already had a feeling Jonathan might be “the one.” His humor, bold personality, and ability to keep her laughing made it impossible not to fall for him. By 2020, they made it official and began building their life together. Then came the unexpected test — the COVID years. Like many couples, they navigated quarantine, turned into temporary teachers for their kids during homeschool, and learned how to balance family life while protecting and strengthening their relationship. Through it all, they discovered something important: if they could make it through a pandemic together, they could make it through anything. By 2023, Jonathan knew without a doubt that he wanted Jessikia to be his wife. The proposal happened on December 16, 2024, during a Family Christmas Cruise. At dinner one evening, the kids surprised Jessikia with an early Christmas gift — a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. As she admired the gift and turned around, she found Jonathan on one knee, ready to ask the most important question of his life. Of course… she said YES! And now their greatest adventure together is just beginning!!!
