I’m sure many of you have heard Bryann tell the story of how we met at least a time or two. However, for those of you who have not heard , here we go from mine and his point of view. I was 18 years old and needed a job for my high school class, if I didn’t get this job then I would not pass the class. I applied at a Pizza Hut that a friend was working at and she was able to get me in. Well of course the General Manager of Pizza Hut was none other than Bryann Rogers! He and I had become friends and I of course grew closer to him and his infectious personality… I didn’t know it at the time but he was feeling the same with me as well. Some time went by and on a morning shift that I was working Bryann came in and sat me down at a booth to have a meeting.. no not a work meeting but a RELATIONSHIP meeting! He wanted to make sure I understood his life and what his role would be in my life and his in mine. That evening on December 2nd, 2008 he took me on a date to Ruby Tuesdays and asked me to be his girlfriend, he even brought me a gift! On Easter of 2009 in front of his family and mine he got on one knee ( we were finally the same height!) and asked me to be his WIFE! I never thought I would have been a 19-year-old bride but there I was. Against what everyone said and thought we made it to 15 years of marriage and with God's grace, we will continue to add to those years.

I know it was a GOD thing for me to be with Jess because of the way we came together. I was out looking for a job and decided to have lunch at Pizza Hut. While I was there eating, a district manager offered me an Assistant General Manager position. While I was in training, the General Manager that I was supposed to assist took a vacation to Florida and never came back. So, I was then transferred to the Laskey Road Pizza Hut. I had my work cut out for me... I turned over most of the staff and eventually hired Jess as my server trainer. I was adamant that I didn't want any romantic titles ,we could be friends but that was it. Until one day I was cooking with my mother in our kitchen and she asked me what my intentions were with Jess... I told her there weren't any. She then asked me how I would feel if Jess decided to start dating other people. That thought had never crossed my mind, and frankly, I didn't like the thought. That's when I started planning the rest of our lives together, and here we are 15 down and forever to go...
