Join Us in the Enchanted Forest! We're tying the knot on June 21, and you're invited to our magical celebration. Details to follow—stay tuned! Remember, please RSVP by May 24.
Travel Note
1) Our hometown of Boulder Creek is nestled deep within the Santa Cruz Mountains. Please be mindful of our winding mountain roads. 2) For those unfamiliar with the area, it’s important to note that San Jose is farther than it appears. Traveling "over the hill" can be a challenging journey. While hotel prices in San Jose may be tempting, we strongly recommend focusing your search on the nearby towns of Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Felton, Scotts Valley, or Santa Cruz (if you're looking for that beach experience).
Nope! While our theme is inspired by Middle-earth and an enchanted forest, we're going for a cool, elegant vibe—think more "regal woodland soirée" and less "LARPing in the Shire." Standard cocktail attire is perfect, but we highly encourage you to sprinkle in a little magic with jewel tones or subtle fantasy-inspired details (think elf ears, flower crowns, etc.) Just no full Ent costumes, please—our venue has height restrictions. 😉
Cocktail meets Enchanted Forest: Think cocktail chic with a twist of dark, regal magic. Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or jackets & slacks in earthy or jewel tones. Add a touch of shimmer, rich textures, or subtle nature-inspired details if you’d like to embrace the vibe—but no pressure! It’s a cool Middle Earth-meets-enchanted-forest aesthetic; feel free to keep it classic or get creative. Footwear should be comfortable for walking on the lawn, as the celebration is outdoors.
Our enchanted forest has limited parking, so we’ve arranged for a shuttle to whisk you to the celebration. Follow the signs for shuttle pick-up and parking at Redwood Elementary (16900 CA-9, Boulder Creek, CA 95006). It’s free and a quick ride, and way less stressful than navigating hobbit trails! 🚐🌲
Absolutely—bring the little hobbits! We look forward to celebrating with guests of all ages.
Plan your arrival based on our tentative schedule: 2:00 PM | Shuttle Service Begins 2:00 PM | Greeting Hour 4:00 PM | Shuttle Service Ends 4:30 PM | Ceremony Shuttles will run from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, so we recommend arriving early to enjoy the Greeting Hour with some welcome drinks and other offerings to ensure you’re comfortably settled before the ceremony begins.
For the closest stay, check out Brookdale Lodge—it’s just minutes away and full of character. For more conveniences (but a bit farther, about 30 minutes), Four Points in Scotts Valley is a solid option.
Our wedding is the day after the summer solstice, so expect plenty of daylight and warm temperatures. Daytime highs are typically in the mid-80s, but evenings may cool down, so a light layer is a good idea.
Parking is not available at the venue. Instead, park at the designated shuttle location (Redwood Elementary, 16900 CA-9, Boulder Creek, CA 95006) and take the shuttle to and from the event.
If you’re unsure about bringing a guest, please reach out to one of us directly, and we’ll be happy to confirm.
