UPDATED
There is no Halloween parade on Halloween but there are still endless fun activities happening around the city Take a look online and book tickets early, should you find a ticketed event that interests you (they always sell out). For those of you who are traveling, we highly suggest arriving early and participating. Just be sure to save your energy for the party on Sat! For parents (and those that just want to hang out): Join us for trick or treating in the Bywater. We will start at Clouet Gardens at 5pm for a kid-friendly community potluck/block party, and meander nearby to trick or treat in the neighborhood. Costumes highly encouraged ;) For non-parents: We plan to stop by the French Quarter and will be on Frenchman St/Decatur St to check out costumes from about 7pm-10pm. We won't be out late though, some come early if you want to find us and say hi!

No, Rach and Jess plan to have a private ceremony in the summer of 2025.
No, Rach and Jess legally married on August 20th, 2024, and would like to celebrate their love with their friends and family through dancing, live music, good drink, and great food.
We are politely asking that folks refrain from wearing sugar skull makeup to our party on Nov 1, but attire is entirely up to you. See Pinterest board for inspiration: https://pin.it/6QarTfNIS We do plan to acknowledge the holiday though and will set up an ofrenda in remembrance of our loved ones that are unable to celebrate with us. If you would like to take part, please bring a photo, a traditional dish, or a token of something that reminds you of your family member, and add it to the ofrenda upon arrival.
You are more than welcome to leave the item or take it home, that is entirely up to you, but please do not bring anything that is precious/irreplaceable. This is a party with a lot of guests and accidents do happen.
There will be plenty of street parking, but we want our guests to be able to enjoy themselves, so we suggest riding a bike or taking an Uber/Lyft.
No, but a donation towards their honeymoon would be welcome. Jess Venmo: @Jesscrump Rach Venmo: @Rachel-Weinhausen
Yes
We recommend staying in the Marigny, Bywater, or French Quarter neighborhoods. These are close to our home and have endless walkable restaurants, bars, entertainment etc. We advise against staying in the Garden District, Uptown, or CBD because they are on the opposite side of town and will require either rental cars or Ubers/Lyfts. (We know it looks like it's only three miles away, but the commute is often more than 30 min).
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
