Our Story

Jeremy and I first met, to no surprise of anyone, at a swim meet. Charli and Reagan had transferred to the Swim Club where Corey was swimming. If you know swimming, you know swim parents spend countless hours sitting and waiting in a hot sauna to watch their kid swim for 30 seconds to a minute or two and then we sit and wait sometimes another hour to see that again. Jeremy easily fit in with our parent group. Over the years, you get to know a lot about a person and their children. Jeremy and my first date was July 17th of 2020 at a Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Indianapolis. Since then, we have enjoyed coffee, concerts, random drives listening to music, family, beach vacations, hiking in Utah, baseball games (where Jeremy caught a foul ball for the first time and gave it to me), and scavenger hunting of lost golf balls on the course where Jeremy lived. We proudly watched all 3 of our girls graduate high school and navigate college life. After 5 years together, Jeremy (+Jack and Woodford) proposed while we walked in beautiful Mounds State Park in Anderson, Indiana. It was important to us that our daughters be an integral part of this ceremony as we legally become a family.

Schedule

Our wedding will be a sunRISE ceremony on Butler Beach in St. Augustine. Sunrise is currently set for 6:36 a.m. and we aim for our official announcement as husband and wife to be at the height of the colorful sunrise that signifies the beginning of a beautiful day and future. This is a very casual wedding and ceremony with our family and dear people in our lives. No shoes required and no shoes recommended! (The bridal party will NOT be wearing shoes!) Dress comfortably as even though it will be at the coolest part of the day, it's still summer in Florida! Parking is at Mary's Street Drive access to Butler Beach with the parking specifically off of Gloria Avenue. If needed, there is also parking just a bit further south at Frank Butler County Park East. Following the ceremony, we will be having a brunch reception located at: 219 Zoratoa Avenue St. Augustine Beach, Florida

Wedding Party

Charli Graves

Groomswoman

Charli is Jeremy's oldest daughter. She's a senior at Ball State University and will graduate in May with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Hospitality. She has worked all through college at a daycare where she adores shaping little people's lives. She will be moving to Texas in July 2026 to begin her professional career. Charli is moving mountains with her intelligence, talent, compassion, creativity and drive. You couldn't ask for a better role model as the big sister in this family.

Corey Bentz

Maid of Honor

Corey is Sue's daughter. She's a Sophomore at University of Louisville planning to obtain a Licensed Clinical Social Work Degree with a minor in Public Health. She's heavily involved in her sorority of Kappa Alpha Theta and their philanthropy of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She has a heart of gold when it comes to humanitarianism. Corey's a die hard University of Michigan fan who also loves the lake and beach life. She's smart, hilarious, goofy and also the most loyal friend you will ever meet.

Reagan Graves

Groomswoman

Reagan is Jeremy's youngest daughter who is a freshman at Ball State University. She is studying Nursing and is a member of the Ball State University Swimming and Diving Team. Although she spends most of her time in the pool working hard towards her swimming goals she is also developing solid friendships with her teammates. Reagan has approached college the way she approaches most things- with intelligence, responsibility, determination and wisdom-all while having fun!

Grace Maher

Reception Planner

Grace is a Purdue Grad and fellow Speech Language Pathologist. She's the girl next door (her office is literally next door to mine at the hospital, haha). She is that girl who is always down for ANYthing at ANYtime. She can literally talk to anybody and never meets a stranger. She's very talented especially in the arts and sports! She is the queen of planning, organizing and the definition of hostess with the mostess so we are so lucky that she and Keeleigh will be hosting our reception!

Keeleigh Kikendall Burnett

Reception Planner

You know how some people come into your life unexpectedly and you never knew how much you needed them? That's how it went for Keeleigh and me! Keeleigh was a graduate student in Speech Language Pathology who wanted to make a change in her externship setting in the last semester of graduate school. But, rules are rules, and I had to bend some so that we could add an additional externship spot for Keeleigh! Best decision ever! Quickly I learned she's confident yet chill, an expert at thrifting and holds a constant positive vibe. She was easily coerced into becoming a diet coke addict like her supervisor! So of course, I loved her right away. Grace and Keeleigh together are the dream team for our wedding reception. Just wait and you'll see!

Officiant

Jack

Best Dog

Jack is our 13 year old Cockapoo and has been a constant companion of Jeremy's for all of those years. He loves car rides, naps, and digging into the trash for leftovers like a raccoon. He strongly dislikes any school bus, Amazon delivery vehicle and the UPS truck.

Woodford

Big Guy

Woodford is our 2 year old Bernedoodle! He comes from Woodford County, KY. He's the goofiest fluffy boy with the biggest heart! He’s nosey and just wants to be the center of attention. He loves car rides to get Mom's fountain diet coke, sticking his head out of the sunroof, running with Dad and protecting Mom (even from Dad). He's deathly afraid of the dog gate blocking the stairs and plastic bags. That's our Woodford!
