How we met
Cody and Jeremy’s love story began in Midtown Atlanta at a bar, where a chance encounter after a Christmas party brought them together. A trip to Miami soon after solidified their connection. Despite their demanding careers—Cody as a news reporter and Jeremy as a Realtor—they make it a priority to spend weekends together. For over a year, Cody traveled from Greenville to Atlanta to visit Jeremy before eventually making the move to the city. After three and a half years, their love remains strong, built on quality time and a deep admiration for each other’s work ethic. Jeremy proposed in Rome, Italy, creating a moment they will forever cherish. They prioritize open communication and never go to bed angry. Now, they are thrilled to plan their wedding at the Cedars Weddings and Events venue in Acworth, Georgia. This venue is extra special to them, as it is Jeremy’s family business, one he’s grown up helping with and watching his family nurture over the years. It’s truly meaningful for them to celebrate their love in such a personal and significant place.

We’ll have a Greyhound shuttle bus providing transportation to and from the wedding, with pickup and drop-off at The Starling Hotel. The shuttle will take you to and from the ceremony and reception at The Cedars Weddings and Events in Acworth, GA—about 45 minutes from Atlanta. Please be sure to reserve your spot by RSVPing to the shuttle option!
