My intention was to keep my son Dylan busy during the 2022 Spring, instead of spending so much time playing video games. A friend at work told me about the Mainland Jaguars and how they practiced nearby. Dylan eventually started with the track team in Richmond, and we soon found ourselves at our first track meet in Wharton. Kourtney saw that we were unprepared at our first meet, and offered to run a snack to Dylan as a favor. One favor, turned into a phone call to make sure we were on track for the next meet. The special attention was nice and professional and eventually led to him asking me out to dinner at the end of the season. I happily agreed and later realized that the snack run, the phone call, and the extra communication was strategically planned. As I look back, words can't express how happy I am that I signed my son up for that 2022 season.
