Jenn and Marcus first crossed paths in November 2013 at the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) annual convention. Jenn was a senior at Villanova University, and Marcus was a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. Their meeting was brief, and the timing wasn’t quite right, though it turns out timing has a sense of humor. Years later, Marcus traveled to Boston for what he called a “business trip,” which became dinner with Jenn and a mutual friend, Madeline. It was a pleasant evening marked by easy conversation and laughter, though neither imagined what was to come. Soon after, they reconnected at the same SNAP conference where their paths had first crossed. What began as an effortless friendship soon deepened into something steady and genuine. What followed was a relationship built on shared ambitions, mutual respect, and steadfast support for one another’s dreams. Their shared passion for nursing and education gave shape and purpose to their journey together. In January 2024, Jenn and Marcus welcomed their son, Caleb, whose arrival reminded them that love has a way of finding its perfect moment.
