Jenna and Micah met at Vanguard University. It was a sunny Friday in Costa Mesa, California. A group of students at Vanguard came together for a game of softball in the middle of campus. Jenna wasn’t planning on playing but a friend convinced her and even made her captain. As she picked her players she did not choose Micah. Mid-game Jenna stood between first and second base as Micah was stopped on first. Jenna noticed Micah on his phone and her competitive nature kicked in. She turned to him and told him to get off his phone and play the game. He proceeded to tell her that she was “really cool”. Flabbergasted, Jenna didn't know how to respond. The next ball was hit and the game went on. Post-softball game Jenna and Micah spent some time talking and getting to know one another. They met up at a Vanguard Volleyball game later that night. Over the next several weeks they spent time together on and off. Eventually, they became inseparable. Fast forward exactly two years. Micah asked Jenna to meet him at Duke's in Huntington Beach for a nice anniversary dinner. Jenna was surprised with a scavenger hunt that led her to a beautiful proposal of flowers and photos set up in the sand. After popping the question, Jenna saying yes and jumping with joy, the happy couple's families joined them in celebration.
