Interesting bike trail across Ottawa. You can stop at Britannia Beach, Westboro Beach, and Mill Street Pub if you bike from West to East on your way to downtown Ottawa.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at the Marshes (outside) for 3:30pm, for a 4pm ceremony start time.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We will have a wedding block at the Brookstreet Hotel. The wedding block is available for Friday and/or Saturday night at a rate of $209. Reservations must be made by June 4th, 2025. There are also a few airbnbs in the area.

How can I reserve a room in the wedding block at the Brookstreet Hotel?
Answer
Contact the reservations department at 613-271-1800 or email reservations@brookstreet.com. Identify yourself as being with the Hughes & Tulloch Wedding for ease of booking. The Reservations Team can be reached Monday to Friday 8:00AM and 6:00PM, Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Individual reservations may be cancelled up until 4:00pm the day prior to arrival (24-hours in advance). Regardless of how reservations are made, reservation requests must be made by June 4, 2025 in order to qualify for your group rate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is complimentary parking at both the Marshes and the Brookstreet Hotel. In addition, there will be a shuttle running to and from the Marshes and the Brookstreet Hotel.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will take place outside at the Marshes (weather permitting) and our reception will take place inside and on the wrap around porch.
